I just placed my getaway package order, what do I need to do next?

To prepare for your Sesame Place visit, you’ll need to do four things:

  • Print out a printer-friendly version of your email/order confirmation page. Put in a safe place but bring with you when you leave for your getaway.
  • Print your Sesame Place admission tickets or passes (eTickets or eVouchers) if applicable. If the tickets/passes you selected are being sent to you in the mail, they will be shipped to you within 3-5 business days from when you purchased your package.
  • Put all of your print outs in a safe place and bring with you when you leave for your getaway.
  • When arriving at your hotel, please show the front desk staff your order confirmation page. When arriving at other preferred attractions you purchased (if applicable) please show your order confirmation page upon your arrival.
   

What exactly does my package price cover?
Your package price includes a nightly room charge plus all applicable taxes/fees the hotel is charged for by the city of Philadelphia, Bucks County or the state of New Jersey (depending upon where your hotel is located). Also included are any admission tickets/passes, add-on items, preferred attractions and all applicable taxes/service fees.

   

Will I receive tickets for my dining reservations?
If you purchased Character Breakfast tickets, you will see a confirmation number for your breakfast on your getaway package order confirmation. Breakfast begins at 9:15am and we allow our breakfast guests into the park before the park opens to the public at 10:00am. Just show your confirmation number for breakfast, with your admission tickets, at our turnstiles for entrance to breakfast.

If you purchased lunch and/or dinner with our characters, you’ll need to print out your lunch and/or dinner confirmation from your order confirmation and bring with you to our Dine With Me! facility inside the park. Please remember that an admission ticket is required for our character dining experiences.

   

Will I receive tickets for my wheelchair, locker or stroller rental?
No, just proceed to our wheelchair/stroller pick-up location (just to the left upon entering the park) and show your order confirmation printout (which has your reservation number on it) and you will receive your items.

   

What if I need to cancel or make changes to my vacation package?

If I have a dispute about my hotel stay, who should I speak with?
Sesame Place is very meticulous regarding the hotels selected to be in our packaging program. If you have a concern with the hotel during your stay, you should speak directly with the hotel, during your stay, to give them an opportunity to correct the situation promptly. Sesame Place works with our partner hotels to provide our guests with accommodations, but is not affiliated with any hotels themselves.

   

Will I be refunded for unused aspects of my vacation package?
Yes and no. It is advised that if you are unable to completely fulfill your vacation package for whatever reason that you contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options. Certain aspects of your vacation package may not be refundable or may incur a fee.

   

What if I have a special request for my hotel?
Please make a notation of this in the “Special request” section if booking your package online. If speaking with one of our reservations agents, please mention during the booking process. While the hotel will do their best to accommodate your request, not all requests can be guaranteed.

   

Does Sesame Place or my hotel provide transportation to and from the park?
Sesame Place does not provide any transportation to and from the park. Some hotels close to the park offer complimentary shuttle service (check the hotel descriptions on our website for specifics).

   

What age is required to book a hotel package?
Most hotels allow guests 18 and over to make a reservation; however, some hotels only allow guests 21 and up.

   
 


Cancellations
  • SeaWorld Inc. has the right to impose cancellation fees.
  • Cancellations made at least 3 days prior to arrival will incur no cancellation fees.
  • Cancellations made 2 days prior to arrival will incur a $50 charge.
  • Cancellations made within a day of arrival will incur a $100 charge.
  • Cancellations made on or after the arrival date will not be refunded. Unused portions of packages will not be refunded.
  • All cancellations must be made via phone at (866) GO-4-ELMO.

Changes

  • Changes made on a completed reservation at least 3 days prior to arrival will incur no change fee.
  • Changes made 2 days prior to arrival will incur a $50 non-refundable fee.
  • No changes will be allowed within 1 day of arrival.
  • All change requests are subject to availability.
  • All changes must be made via phone at (866) GO-4-ELMO.

Regarding Hotel Changes
Hotel property or date changes will require your entire getaway order to be cancelled and rebooked. The above cancellation policy applies.

No purchaser should rely upon representations other than those included in this agreement. This agreement is for purchase of a vacation certificate and puts all assignees on notice of the consumer’s right to cancel under section 599.933, Florida Statutes.
