Online Purchases Tickets Annual Passes Gift Certificates Online Purchases

What type of payment do you accept?
We accept Mastercard®, Visa®, Novus/Discover® and American Express® credit cards.

   

Is it safe to use my credit card online?
Yes – your card information is encrypted and cannot be read by others during transmission. Our servers use the industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect your information. These safeguards make your transaction safe and reliable.

   

Will my e-mail address or other personal information be distributed to third parties?

How can I track/check the status of my order?
Visit the Order History page and enter the email address and password you setup when you placed your order. This link can also be found in your confirmation email.

   

Will I receive any kind of confirmation once my order has been placed?
Yes, we will send out a confirmation email once your order has been placed and then another one when your credit card has been successfully charged.

Tickets

What is an eTicket?

Ticket products labeled with the eTicket icon allow you to bypass our ticket booth lines and proceed directly to our park entrance by printing your tickets at the convenience of your computer.

   

Why aren’t all tickets available as eTickets?

Some tickets are produced in conjunction with another park or program and do not have the ability to be printed as eTickets and must be shipped to you. These products are denoted by the lack of an eTicket icon.

   

What does the “eTicket only” icon mean?

The eTicket only icon means that particular ticket product is only available as an eTicket and cannot be shipped.

   

How long are my tickets good for?

Most tickets expire 365 days from the date of purchase with a few exceptions for promotional tickets. Please check the Redemption/Legal section of your eTicket for your exact expiration date.

   

Can I order tickets online for a large group (15+)?

Yes, just click the Group Tickets link at the top of this page to be taken to our Group Sales product selection.

   

Does my Child need a photo ID?

No. Even though all of our tickets state a photo ID is required for admission, only those older than 18 will be required to present one.

   

I purchased a ticket good for more than one day, where do I print my tickets for those days?

You will continue using the same ticket for all visits to our park. There is no need to exchange it or print out subsequent tickets for the remaining days.

   

I ordered tickets that must be shipped and they won’t arrive before my visit to SeaWorld, what should I do?

Please call us at (800) 25-SHAMU immediately so we can make arrangements for your visit. In some cases, a repurchase of tickets may be required and adjustments made to your order.

   

What if I bought my tickets from someone other than SeaWorld San Diego?

Questions regarding tickets purchased from someone other than SeaWorld San Diego will need to be addressed by seller. SeaWorld San Diego is not responsible for tickets purchased from any other person/party/vendor other than SeaWorld San Diego.

   


Annual Passes

What is the difference between an Annual Pass and a ticket?

A SeaWorld Annual Pass allows guests to visit our park multiple times for one low price. Some Annual Passes are also eligible for in-park discounts and discounts to other Worlds of Discovery parks. For more information about the benefits of being a Annual Pass Member, click here.

   

Can I purchase discounted tickets and programs online as a Annual Pass Member?

Yes, to access these discounts, log into your Annual Pass Member account here. You will need your Annual Pass number and billing zip code to log in.

   

Can I renew my Annual Pass online?

Of course. Log into your Annual Pass Member account here and choose which Annual Pass and option you’d like to renew to.

   

What is your return policy on Annual Pass and Fun Cards?

Annual Pass Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. Lost or stolen Annual Passes may be reprinted by presenting a photo ID at the Will Call/Travel Vouchers window outside the main entrance to the park. A reprint fee may apply.

   

Can anyone else use my Annual Pass?

No. All Annual Passes are non-transferable and may not be used by anyone other than the person whose name appears on the pass. SeaWorld reserves the right to confiscate any misused Annual Pass. Additional fees may apply.

   

What if I want to buy a 12-month (or 24-month) Annual Pass before my current Fun Card expires?

The full value of your used Fun Card can be applied toward an upgrade to a Silver or Platinum annual pass within 30 days of purchase. Fun Cards that have not been used to visit SeaWorld are valid for an upgrade at full value.

   

I just renewed my Annual Pass online, but when I received my order my photo was not on the back – is that ok?

The new Touch-n-Go ID verification system will be available when you visit. This quick finger scan will get you into the park faster. Finger scans are used only to validate Annual Pass member identification and never shared with anyone. You may substitute a valid ID instead of a finger scan if you wish.

   


Gift Certificates

Where can I purchase a gift certificate?

At this time, gift certificates are available for sale through the Internet and Call Center only.

   

In what denominations are the gift certificates sold?

Gift certificates are sold in $5 and $10 denominations up to $500 per transaction.

   

Where can the gift certificates be used?

Gift certificates can be used anywhere cash is accepted in our parks. This includes but is not limited to: parking, admission tickets, behind-the-scenes tours, gift shops and dining venues. Please note: Gift certificates are not valid at Discovery Cove and cannot be used for purchases online or by phone.

   

How should a lost gift certificate be replaced?

Unfortunately, we cannot replace lost gift certificates at this time. Please note: Gift certificates are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash.

   

When will my gift certificate expire?

Gift certificates expire one year from the date of purchase, where applicable.

   

When will my gift certificate arrive?

All gift certificate orders are shipped via FedEx with an $8.00 shipping charge. Orders shipped in the U.S. arrive within 3-5 business days. International orders arrive within 7 business days and incur a $15.00 shipping charge. A valid street address (and postal code if available) is required for international delivery. FedEx cannot ship ticket orders to P.O. Boxes.
