Careers In-depth is a 12-night long camp which begins at noon Saturday Week 1 and ends promptly Thursday morning at 9:00AM Week 2. Busch Gardens Resident Camps are fully chaperoned and include the following amenities:- Transportation between Busch Gardens and Tampa International Airport (TPA).
- All meals and snacks.
- Four Camp T-shirts and a water bottle.
- Housing at our secure, onsite dormitory, Mzinga Lodge.
Here are just some of the experiences you can expect: - Tour the Serengeti Plain on a flat bed truck and hand-feed giraffes!
- Work alongside professional zookeepers to better understand their role in veterinary support care.
- Gain firsthand knowledge about real day-to-day care of exotic animals from zoo professionals.
- Spend one morning shadowing a veterinarian; go on morning rounds and help with procedures.
- Enjoy all the world class rides, shows, and animal exhibits Busch Gardens and SeaWorld offer.
