If you are enrolled in College and want to pursue a career in the field of Marine Zoological Sciences, this camp offers an opportunity to confirm you future goals. Discover whether a career in the fields of Animal Training, Marine Mammal Care, Aviculture or Aquarium is in your future. Practical experiences will include exposure to animal care and nutrition, anatomy and physiology, and animal behavior and training. Evening lectures focus on special topics related to animal rehabilitation, research, husbandry, laboratory procedures and veterinary science. Marine Zoological Career Camp is meant to give campers a hands-on look at SeaWorld jobs. Participation in these programs is not a guarantee of future employment.
Adventure Camps are designed to promote an appreciation of and stewardship for animals and the environment by providing a safe, fun and educational camp for all ages. Campers will experience hands-on interactions with a variety of marine organisms. Practical experiences will include exposure to animal care and nutrition, physiology and behavior, and animal training.
